..sa
..wa
..nz south
..nz north
..forsale
hows that sound?
i mean that would be for organising meets and such
the posts regarding what you have done to the car, pics, questions etc should all go to the current forums and threads i think
Sounds Great!

Lol yeah I spam it .
I don't like the chances of a sub forum inside a sub forum.

Maybe we can sticky a thread for each state if sub sub forums are not approved.

We should have our moderator for this section!!

I sent a email to hachi, see what he says. I am not sure if vBuliten can go down that many levels to begin with
If not, Nardi, that was my next train of thought

There are already a few Aussie 86 forums but none of them seems to have a lot of participation. Also there are sub forums on established Toyota forums as well.

If possible I'd prefer to just stay here as we are all here already.
Same here ive been here for 2 years and been waiting for it to build

personally I like this Idea. all we need is a QLD specific section and we have our own little club

I think having a sub sub forum is the way to go. If it was stickied for each State here it'd seem like all the events happening in so called state will be lost within the thread. Although i think a sub sub forum would be a lil messy.

Don't exactly want to be scanning through a thread to look for what's happening when and where especially with the amount of replies you'd get from holding an event.

For a US based Golf forum I used to hang around, they had an Aussie sub forum and within that 1 sub forum for events and 1 sub forum for classified. I think it works pretty well.

1 sub forum for each state can be messy....

Beware the pull of the car club!

I've been in so many over the years, and they've all ended in tears for one reason or another. Usually because someone takes it way more seriously than everyone else and thinks a title like 'President' is actually some sort of real thing that puts them above other mere mortals they encounter in day to day life and they strive to get it, piss everyone else off in the process, and everyone forgets why they joined in the first place, ie: for the cars.

Hey, I'm not bitter!

I'd suggest a forum -- and this one could be as good as any -- where folks arrange drives in their local areas, BBQs, nice casual stuff. It's when you start handing around titles, and need to pay insurance, and take fees, etc, etc, etc, that things start going pera-shaped and away from what a car club is about.

Just my 2c
