Hush! I just saw his post, but I made my posts first.

Anybody order and install this yet? Seems like it comes with a fresh new shift boot, looks identical to the TRD short shifter but the price has gone down to $357, a few dollars cheaper than TRD's $366. Lead time is quite shorter (10-15 days instead of TRD's 45-60 days). Might be a good time for OEM nuts like myself to jump on it:

See what I was saying? STI just seems like a better deal (for once). I got the Mach V black reverse lockout ring, so I'm good for now. I will get a short shifter eventually, though, and most likely considering the STI one.

Do you use the factory reverse lock plate with this? Thinking about pulling the trigger and buying one.

Also, does anyone have instructions on how to install this specific model? I've seen instructions for ones like the kartboy but don't know if they'll apply 100%.

I don't know the answer to your question but suggest you go to the DIY section where you asked a question on Jan 7 and ask there. I don't know how to link yet. Read the whole thread. You may also want to look at DIY info on the Kartboy shifter as some of the installation is similar. I'm hoping Trap63 will chime in as he will be able to help. Good luck!

Yes, you reuse the factory reverse lock plate.

Throw is reduced 4mm in each direction.

There are several short shifter installation videos on Youtube you can follow along with.
