I don't have a SOLO, but I use the same mount for my phone and it gets GPS fix with no issue.

I have mine setup on one screen so I don't have to touch the Solo DL once the track session starts. In the settings, you can specify how many fields you want to display on the custom screen; the display isn't that large so there is a practical limit on how many fields you can show and read quickly.

Yes, I imagine trying to display 4 fields at once wouldn't be ideal, hence why i asked about the scrolling screens.

You can make it show all 4 on one screen, or one on a large screen and scroll through.

@TCR: let me know if you need help setting up the unit. It's really easy once you learn to navigate the menus.

Ordered my Solo DL today. Downloaded the software, and there seems to be a couple of different versions of RaceStudio. I assume I'm best off just using RaceStudio 3?

I assume when you first install the unit in your car, or switch it to another car you need to connect it to the PC, open up the software and "Calibrate Device" to calibrate the accelerometers?

Thanks Mike. In my rush to get everything sorted for the track on Saturday I forgot this bit and consequently my data was useless. On the plus side though, got it all hooked up to the ECU and the custom page setup showing, +- time, Best lap, Oil temp and Coolant temp which all worked well.
Never mind, I have a race meeting in a couple of weeks, so hopefully have it all sussed out by then.

Question regarding track maps.

All of my local tracks are loaded on the DL, so they are recognised when I turn on the unit at the track. After I download the data and open the Map Manager, I notice none of the tracks are listed. Do you have to create new maps from the gps data collected, or can you import them from the Aim website or from your DL?
