So here's what I've done:

WRX 4 pot calipers which is the same as what came with the Skyline GTR R32/33, Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX7 and believe it or not, the Toyota Landcruiser, Hilux, etc.

If you get the ones from the WRX it's a straight fit, I've got a full set including the aluminum 2 pot rears but they're unfortunately not a straight fit.

Looks like this:

I didn't get the "hardware" with them so had to get 3 retaining pins from one Toyota dealer, 1 from another and the rest from Subaru.

No dealer have got stock but some of the parts are at the warehouse, the rest will be ordered from Japan. A bit worrying when a dealer can't supply a safety critical component in reasonable time.

To say they've made a difference would be an understatement. They're phenomenal!! They will make your eyes feel like they want to pop out and that's even before ABS kicks in! Well worth it...

Edit:
Forgot to add - the fronts are 600g lighter than stock per caliper. Alwaysbgood reducing unsprung weight.

I assume that caliper only fits the high-spec front disc size, not standard spec?

Yet the high and std have the same calipers out the box - wonder how much different?

Only the center part is the same, the bracket is different. With the WRX fixed caliper you can't swap them out so you'd have to get bigger disks I'd assume. Which of course is not a bad thing ...

Lovely set up there! Saw a 86 overseas. They look mean on the car.

294mm I think.

This means you'd have to upgrade to bigger disks to fit the 4 pots.

Quick update - got a set of PFC Brakes for the WRX calipers as well. Amazingly the old PFC pads which have done 2 track days and 2 Lowveld runs have got the same, if not more compound left than the brand new ones. The disks are showing no abnormal wear at all. I've spoken to the distributor and his other clients are experiencing the same which is sort of a problem for them - return business is not as often as you'd expect.

These pads are truly amazing.

Today I decided to lay in a set of spare brake pads.
I'll soon be changing to some unfamiliar pads, so I'd like to have a backup for July's Michelin Cup event just in case.

Over the years I've done a lot of business with Powerbrake SA, and only once did they frustrate me a bit, and that wasn't to do with an order. It was to do with a sponsorship application, so whatever...

Today, they didn't have front pads in stock, so I made an email enquiry at 14:04 about when they'll be available again. Then I went out for a meeting and got back at 16:15. They'd responded at 14:16 that they did have a set in stock which was allocated to an old order which they decided to cancel, and I can have them. I then placed my order online for front and rear pads at 16:22. At 16:36 I received acknowledgement of my EFT payment, and at 16:43 received despatch confirmation. I should have the pads here in Nelspruit by 9am tomorrow.

Some people know how to do business, and some don't...
Just sayin'
