They may be Valenti "like" yes. A tail light change was almost a given since it is relatively cheap and It is a well know fact that many did not like the original stock ones. Even with a change though many will still swap them out to individualize their car.

Can cut any open and paint the inside. Just a matter of degree of difficulty. Maybe nobody will want to this time around though (I know I am not fooling anybody with that statement)

Why ppl hate the stock taillight? Actually I think it's one of the best design done by toyota on our car.

Tom's tail light? You know civic, other subaru even nissians all looks like that OEM? pretty sure it will be consider the style of the era 10-20 years later. O.o

Valentis? .........probably in junkyard bin in 10 years inturns of style.

I am with you on both counts. I actually really like the look of the stocks and would probably change to something like them if they came with a Valanti style light .
I also get why people like to change them though since they are a relatively cheap and easy way to make the car your own.

The thing about the Valenti taillights is that I love how it looks at night just as much as the OEM taillights, but during the day the Valentis just look plain ugly in comparison.

I am also in agreement! The stock tails are by far the preferred design for myself over any other aftermarket tails. My only wish was that they were had red or gunmetal housing and not the chrome housing. At least in the U.S., there are rear reflectors built into the tails, so they look more appealing to my eyes.

I like Valentis and Toms (Tom's?), but not any more than the stocks. The stocks win hands down for reliability.

I feel that TOM'S are more suited for BRZs since they closely match the BRZ concept better.

Maybe they'll get styling cues from the FT-86 and/or FT-86II concepts?
