hey everyone! the weather is changing here in chicago so I decided to switch my fueling to 93 for easier cold startups. I'm running flex fuel right now so this run was with e25 and kraftwerks c38 standard boost pulley. Can somebody just make sure and double check everything is ok? someone did tell me that the short term fuel trim is a little unstable and should be cleaned up a bit. and during at times of idle i do see my AFR wander all the way to 17ish. let me know what you guys think. i appreciate any input! Edit: there are two pulls in the chart, one towards the middle and another towards the end |

Some help necessary here. Setup:
Open Flash OFT300 package Vortech supercharger (standard pulley) Open Flash Header Stock catback Vortech Maxflow BOV Logs: http://datazap.me/u/sirsol66hotmailc...data=1-2-10-11 Car is showing very very high fuel trims (25+) at idle and low RPM areas. Car is running completely fine but the trims are not settling. No knock at WOT pulls. Exhaust has been leak checked and no issues. I will leak check the intake side this week. One thing I noted is that the BOV is completely open at idle and moving A LOT of air. I never ran the normal vortech bypass valve so I am not sure how the maxflow compares with it. Can this be contributing to the high fuel trims? I would think no since the MAF is quite a ways after the BOV but still curious. |

Okay, so there's nothing weird there. Which tells me the injector is probably fine.. So spun rod bearing it is. Fml.

They all have huge amount of fuel trims at idle and low MAF. Is this typical for boosted setups, or do they need to modify the MAF scale?

All cold idle fuel trims go all over the place it seems. It's not unusual, it's why it's best to ignore any fuel trims below 50C coolant temp.

Running fullblown's turbo kit with gt2871r at 8psi, stock injectors, 3 bar map sensor. Im getting some AFR fluctuations when cruising, possibly because of erratic maf voltage readings. Here are some logs. Wondering if everything looks normal.

I started to get this knock at .60~.80 loads seemingly out of nowhere. NOt sure what to make of it. I tried tightening my header to over pipe connection and it seemed to lessen for a short time. Is it just the exhaust fasteners loosening because of the large difference in the cold winter ambient temps to the high exhaust temps heating up the exhaust rapidly? Or, should I bee looking at the cam and ignition timing for a fix?
Log:http://datazap.me/u/solidone/af1z-ca...6313-3928-1628 Edit: I think it might be just a tank of bad winter blend gas. Just fueled up a fresh tank of gas and the knock seems to have lessened. Will update post with another log with this new tank of gas tomorrow. edit2: Lower amount of flkc this morning, but still there. http://datazap.me/u/solidone/af1z-ca...zoom=2182-2790 edit3: Logging KC and Cams with some aggressive throttle and pulls to redline: http://datazap.me/u/solidone/af1z-ca...2107-2164-2078 Probably fuel quality related. Exhaust vibration not ruled out 100%.

Hi,
Merry Christmas! I've logged 3rd pull on Christmas eve . http://datazap.me/u/makinenkr/201512...-13&zoom=3-107 98 RON petrol, HKS catted EL header, overpipe, Exedy stage 1 clutch + flywheel kit, DSS AL shaft. I'm curious about whether I have to open loop MAF scaling or not. The MAF curve after applying OL scaling is somewhat not smooth. For the ignition timing, could I get more after 6800rpm by advancing some? Based on Virtual Dyno, it hits 204hp . Just for fun. Thanks. |

But that pull doesn't look like a good candidate to convert to dynograph with a lot of little dips and spikes in the rpm. I like to use 2 smoothing on virtual dyno. http://datazap.me/u/makinenkr/201512...66-92-97-86-73 I would suggest doing many back to back pulls on a nice and flat/level surface to get good/consistent data for conversion. At least 3-4 pulls. I do about 10 in a row then a 3to4to5 gear at the end for good measure and good data to see if you can add or pull some timing for better power or knock resistance
