If I am spending 7k+ on a turbo kit ill probably go with FBM premium or JDL, because I like the top mount turbo location. @shdobxr

I have only had the kit a few days. Yes, you get what you pay for. Although the SPD kit goes to 12psi, I wanted mine capped at 10psi (to be safe) and am running on stock clutch, injectors, etc. I know 233whp sounds low - but honestly, I just love the sound of a turbo and the extra 73whp is a bonus (for me). I can certainly feel the difference. Again, I wasn't looking to get crazy HP out of it, so this is the perfect kit for ME. If YOUR intention is power- I would defintely look into the ptune Kit. As far as heat, I have some heat wrap on the important parts as well as a turbo blanket (but still need to install that). With all that said, I've got less than 2k miles on the kit, so I can't really give a good review yet as far as pros/cons. This is my first (aftermarket) turbo, so I have no way to compare it to other brands or setups (sorry). Not sure if any of this helps - but wanted to add my two cents. :o)

Yep that was me. Not too many 86 cousins on the road. Very clean car I must say. Good luck with the kit. Yeah I've had more than 400 hp cars in the past. Not looking for that in this car unless I wanted to swap a V8. Being local to ptune is a good benefit and I was going to install the kit myself unless the install price is right.

I liked your quad exhaust out the back. What is that a 3 inch back from the turbo? Or axle or catback?

Rear faring kit too?

Going to start off with prepping for heat with an upgraded radiator and oil cooler to prep for the added heat, clutch then drop it with some kW v3's.

This would be till next year when I plan on moving closer in.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions regarding the kit Freddy.

Funny side note : Driving my car I was waiting for the boost to kick in. Sadly there was none. But someday.

Nice shop too!

Alot of stock subarus came with Mitsubishi turbos such as the TD04 that came in the 2003 wrx (I owned one). There have been several other ocasions where they have used Mitsu turbos in the past on subarus that came stock that way.

My pleasure! I understand the feeling every time I drive a customer's Ptuning turbo S2000 then get in my stock S2000

Side note: MrC just told me that we were driving on the low boost map, probably only 10 psi.

14 PSI is high boost, what put down 327whp. When we were test driving that was on low boost, probably around only 10 PSI.
