Sti Battery Tie Down.

This might hold the optima yellow top battery better than Cusco tie down does.

I sure hope you're planning on posting a sound clip. haha I'm sure it would be too loud for me, but it should sound gorgeous too.

Noticed I've been getting a rattle under the hood on start ups that disappears after the car is a little warmed up. Ordered the GS exhaust gaskets and threw them on, then made sure everything was good and tight in the exhaust from the exhaust manifold to the axles.

Voila, rattle has disappeared.

#feelsgoodman and now I don't have to be embarrassed about the rattle when I start my car.

I'll try to remember to record one!
I won't be putting this on until next weekend, so we'll see then.

I'm hoping to get a tune the same week as well.

You don't want that header man. I've heard it has a lot of issues. Luckily it just so happens that I have an extra stock one laying around that you can have.

Whose tuning your car?

Haha.

I'm not sure yet. I asked around the Ottawa region, but Lachute and Zealou5 are the only ones around here. Zealou5 is asking too much and Lachute likes to blow up cars, so no thanks :p

I'll probably have to go down to Toronto for my tuning. APH maybe? I'll let you know!

7500 mile service

I got my first 7500 mile service this week. It's basically an oil change. The dealer here in Tallahassee managed to screw up the oil change. I checked the oil level when I got home and found that the dealer had overfilled the oil by about a full quart. In spent the next hour correcting the dealer's mistake. That's the last time that dealer will see me or my car. Their website mentions world class service, not sure what world they are referring to.

My wife's favorite Hyundai dealer double filled her engine. 8 quarts of oil in a 4cyl motor (required 4 quarts total). It could be much worse. Their excuse was that the mechanic that started the oil change had to leave for lunch and forgot he already put oil in it. Must have been a hell of a lunch.

She didnt know till the engine damn near seized and spewed white exhaust everywhere.
