I ended up letting the dealership know, the light has been off ever since Day 2 so they claimed there was nothing they can do - but at least it's on record that I had an "issue" and complained... --- One other question (unrelated) and a few more to come: 1. Has anybody tried the following method (steamer) for tint removal? [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9vzJDUM5Ag"]Easy Way to Remove Automotive Window Tint - YouTube[/ame] I'm debating between this, the more traditional razor blade - solution method and / or taking it to some local place that does tints. |

I see the PC Police are in this thread as well...lol
Many dealerships have earned their negative reps because they are stealerships and liars out to screw you out of every last dollar, and once you've made your purchase, the customer service you receive often changes |

I have attached a partial picture of the engine bay for those who were asking. Also the exhaust is aftermarket, looks like some kind of burnt tipped ARK exhaust that I've seen a handful of others with based on the pics posted here... |

Are there any downsides (potential screwups that could have a lasting effect) to doing it yourself though?
I haven't come across any, other than that you possibly only remove 1 layer of the tint and then have to spent an eternity scraping off the remaining residue... Decisions, decisions, the tints really do look nice but being in NJ I know it's a matter of when not if I get pulled for them Last edited by 02.ACCORD.DUDE; 10-04-2015 at 03:12 PM. |

That is an aftermarket header, with what looks to be a catalytic convertor. It looks like a P&L equal length header with cat to me, but I'm no expert.
You may be getting the catalyst efficiency code due to the aftermarket cat

You can't help but wonder if they reset the code to get it to pass inspection. I would definitely take it back to them.

One other question (for now!)... Can anyone help me identify the lights in the attachments? They're the ones I currently have installed but I'm contemplating swapping them out for the standard / OEM lights in the link below as I think I've gotten a few flashing lights from oncoming drivers which is making me uneasy / paranoid that I may be obscuring the vision of other drivers... http://www.carid.com/2013-scion-fr-s...fIoaAhiA8P8HAQ |
