@Smurfette

More on the BMW events, they're averaging about 6 runs right now 45s-55s course, almost never out of second gear, three run groups one morning two afternoon, if you request to drive with group 1 in the morning, you'll work group 2 after lunch and can leave ~3pm, or stick around and hitch rides with people. The instructors can be hit or miss but there are a few very talented very knowledgeable people there, sounds like you're mostly interested in seat time though so that may be irrelevant.

They've managed to fill 100 slots within 5 days of opening registration twice now, registration for the next event typically opens Sunday at midnight after the event, they're currently at 19 waitlisted for their next event and registration opened 4 days ago.

Sounds like Lotus Club is better suited, I also heard 10+ runs a few weeks ago and I'm totally signing up for the next one that fits my schedule.

That's my favorite way to do AAS but I'm brining a co-driver and she can't go in the AM so might as well race with the ST cars I guess.

Pretty fun course today, I wish we had a little more 2nd gear... wasn't sure if it was worth shifting. My in-car cam ran out of battery cause we left it on for the entire group.

I think I was trying to compensate for HP by not braking adequately and trying to carry too much speed? I think the BRZ will teach me a lot about driving and how to leverage momentum properly.
Is your car stock or modified? I nearly spun a BRZ on stock tires. Lifted hard going into a turn transitioning between concrete and pavement and the rear snapped around.

That course looks pretty fun. Do you have a soft rev limiter?

I agree it was a fun course! I didn't bother shifting but I was tempted coming back towards the showcase. I didn't bring my GoPro but I ran a 45.6

My friend told me that Mary was making a comment that anyone new should watch me since I'm a regular at the events. Just then at the last section before the finish I refused to lift the throttle and then under steered knocking a bunch of cones like a bowling alley, thus a cone went under my wheel well and launched fender liner ten feet in the air. I couldn't get under 50 sec and I have to replace my fender liner for the second time

He then realized no one will ever watch him again...

My in-car cam failed today, not sure what happened but it started working after I messed with it.

Here's Justin's fastest run today, beat me by a little over a tenth. I couldn't figure out the first hand left at all today, was overdriving and not looking ahead enough.

I couldn't start my camera in time for my faster run.
