I was actually about to add the caveat about don't care if running SD, didn't add it because most AVO owners run MAF. But, I will go back and make the distinction.

Did you trim the 4-5 inch tube which connects the bpv to the intake tube? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

That tube was bottomed out on the BOV and angling it towards the left when fitted. You can see in the picture how that would keep some static pressure trying to push the main tube off the turbo. I hadn't noticed that angle on the BOV before. I hope it works out as well for me as it did for you. Good tip. @Sportsguy83 and his scare tactics made me check it Tuesday... I was definitely in the danger zone... |

Wrapped with some blue tape to get a good circle all the way around.
Marked with silver sharpy. Cut it with hacksaw. It made a very clean cut. |

Put a hose clamp around the hose as a cutting guide. Use a scalpel or another very sharp knife to cut around, having the knife always touching the clamp. Straight cut every time! |

As above, cut the BOV hose, doesn't need to take much off, maybe an inch or so... Cable tie around the intake hose to turbo hose. No problems since.

A few of you have asked about the "stage 4" turbo... This is it. I believe they use the stage 3 turbo as a base. So billet wheel and then it looks to be a modified housing with a bigger wastegate opening.

What percent is your engine load at idle? Does it easily go to 90-100 percent while mildly accelerating on first gear?
