Motor mounts and new plugs are in. The mounts were super simple to install. If you jack the motor high enough, the driver side mount should come right out (thats the "problem" side). Then again I do have an aftermarket header so I can't comment on doing it with a stock one. The passenger side could basically fall right out, and thats with the stock overpipe in place (but again no stock header).
STi Tranny mount went in without a hitch. I forgot how ****TY the stock one is without the whiteline bushing in there. Plugs were easy to get to once the motor was jacked up. You have to remove the ICM on the passenger side (well you don't but it makes it easier), and I took the injector cover off the driver side to get to those packs. The driver side sucks because of the fuel lines. My hands are pretty cut up from all the **** over there but swapping the plugs was pretty simple. Stock plugs: |

Well its been a while...figured i'd move along my journal a bit now that I should have things wrapped up by next weekend if all goes well.
Recently sold the Innovate supercharger. Thing was damn fun and I was sad to let it go. My car is no longer my DD so I decided to throw more power at it. When I first got the car my goal was to make it a reliable DD. It was that with the Innovate. I still suggest this route to a lot of people asking about my car...but now since it gets driven only a few times every once and a while, why not! Upgraded to a JDL UEL GTX2867r Kit. If I could afford to, i'd AN fitting every damn thing on my car All AN fittings for turbo vacuum/boost lines. No lines popping off on this kit, thats for sure. My Makeshift compressor housing until mine comes back from chroming Laying in the IC pipe to check fitment and see how it looks. Some other things I added was the matching radium can near the battery, and also rebought (yes, haha) a password JDM engine cover. Need to add a few more things but right now just looking forward to getting it together so I can drive it. Haven't driven the car in 8 months |
