LOL I've only had the car since 2012 and I'm on 11,000 miles roundabouts.
But I only drive it as a weekend or weeknights car. |

seems like you have the auto transmission? any issues with that throughout these 100k? and did you ever change the tranny oil at all?
lastly - your first engine..it just blew up under normal driving conditions or were you pushing it pretty hard (i.e. track)? |

How much can you source off the blown engine? Looks like OEM shortblock is just over $2k with full units being pulled out of wrecked cars for $2k-$4k, couldn't find an oem long block replacement, less if you're willing to do a little bit of wrenching.
And then add labor if you aren't. http://www.subarupartsamerica.com/pa...&siteid=216122 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Subaru-...-/121657096614 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-SUBARU-...-/271632397085 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46200 |

How hard of a life did the first motor live? Track days every weekend?

Guys, take a breather.
I'm sure some of our engines will last to 100k.
