2015 OEM Exhaust Tips for my 2014 BRZ
I've hated the tiny exhaust tips on my 2014 BRZ from day one, so I finally bought the 2015 OEM exhaust tips yesterday. I bought them from my local Subaru dealer (Part #44370CA010) for $60/each. They didn't come with bolts, so I picked up a couple of those, too (Part #010006127).
Edited saga: Unfortunately, when putting on the new tips, the nuts and bolts stripped very easily. Ended up getting them welded on by a local muffler shop. The larger tips look a lot nicer. Thanks! I just bought them myself at my local dealer. They charged me $45 each (dealer invoice). As mentioned above the bolts were not included. Interestingly, when I ordered them the dealer said that the 2015 BRZ's muffler has a different part number. Here are some uninstalled pics.

Cool. I'm very happy with the look--and feeling pretty smug when I see any other pre-2015 BRZ/FRS on the road. 95% of them still have the tiny tips.
Let me know how the install goes. I don't know about the muffler, but the pipe that comes out must have an indent in a different place. I think that's why I stripped my nuts and bolts--trying to tighten the bolt down to where the bolt head was seated on the nut. Don't do that; you can't indent the pipe with this nut. |

Update: They're on. Thanks for the tip about not overtorquing the bolt! Pics of the stock 2013 tip vs. 2015 tip, and on the car. Last edited by bedabi; 06-18-2015 at 11:13 AM. Reason: Update |
