They go either L/100km or km/L, for which you'd expect to see numbers like 5-8 and 12-20 respectively.

My current DD (98 Corolla) manages 34 MPG if I absolutely baby it; ~30-31 the rest of the time. The route I drive to work is mostly back roads with few stops, cruising at about 60 (55 mph limit).
I picked the BRZ partially because I knew I could very similar mileage to what I'm already getting, but the fun factor will be about 1k%.

With gas going the way it is... I don't want to think twice every time I step a little harder on the accelerator...

(shot taken today, 26 May)

EDIT: You'll notice even the base of the stand can't hold the weight of those gas prices!

It's okay to step hard on the accelerator, as long as you aren't ending up going faster, hitting the brakes more, hitting the redline, or stepping literally all the way :P

Few weeks ago it was 4.399 back in Norcal, dunno what it is now.

Last time I filled up I paid an effective rate of $3.44 for Premium in Atlanta.

The actual cost was in the $3.80 range, but I was able to knock off ten cents a gallon using "Kroger points", then another 3 cents a gallon by using a Kroger gift card, and an additional 5% because the gift card was purchased through my son's high school band's "shopwithscrip" where you buy the gift cards at face value and a percentage (varies by company) goes towards paying band fees. In Kroger's case its 5% back.

We are able to pay more than half of his band fees each year just through the use of the cards for gas and restaurants (some of which are as much as 18% back!).

If you have kids in some type of program that does fundraising, its definitely worth suggesting they look into using it. It doesn't cost you any extra since you'd spend the money anyway.

Picked my FR-S up on Friday. Have a little over 260 miles on her (still on first tank with a little over 1/4 left) and am keeping at about 26mpg average indicated. I'm constantly varying the throttle and having fun turning as well... probably 50/50 city/highway.

Meanwhile, in Italy...
95 RON fuel is 1.75 €/liter now--> 8.30 $/g
100 RON around 1.90 €/l-->9 $/g

I'll be happy if I can get 25 MPG.

First tank - 276 miles/10.5 Gal. Combined driving. Fuel light came on when there was >3 gallons left (1.8 per manual). Or the gas station denied itself a sale of at least 2 gallons of gas, which I doubt.
