In case you are wondering what the final decision was.
As many of you know I was battling with a choice of many cars comparable to the twins. The twins are great cars, will never hate them for what they are. However that being said I was always looking for something more. Test drove the new mustang GT, boring in the corners. Test drove the s2k, but wanted it to be a bit faster. Plus with that car, I was not comfortable at all with the seating positions. Test drove a 370z randomly and fell in love. Gives me the handling response close to (but more mature) than the twins and gives me the power I am looking for. I will always love the toyobaru, but I think the Z is where I belong. Doesn't mean I'm leaving you guys though

To me the Z and FR-S/BRZ are completely different but nice to drive in their own aspects.
Good job OP for buying what you like and not what everybody says you should like! |

Congrats on your new car. As long as you are happy with your decision all should be fine.
Did you own a BRZ or FRS before? |

Congrats man!
How does the 370 interior space compare to a 350? My roommate has a 350, and I really like it, but I honestly can't fit in it comfortably for over and hour. And forget about heel-toe! My legs were so tight against the wheel I had to put lube on them just to be able to turn.

Test drove a 2015 Nissan 370 Nismo.
Was pleasantly surprised, IMO much improved over previous Nismo editions. Dealer had 3 Nismo Z's on the lot not to mention 15+ regular Z's. Tried to make a deal with them but they refused to go lower than $43k on the Nismo and treated me like shit when I explained why I would not pay more than $39k for one. If they had not been such assholes I might be driving one right now but instead I went next door and bought a C7 Vette. On point, congrats the Z is a nice car. |
