Also installed a Nexus 7 in my car to replace the crappy factory nav unit. This will let me use Google Maps, have music streaming with better gain and equalizer settings, and use Torque/Harrys Lap Timer when doing fun stuff.

This is a plug and play setup that a friend of mine built for his previous BRZ which he recently sold with the factory nav back in place.
Seamless install that allows full Android capability with no clutter. I'm enjoying it so far!

Here's a link to the Nexus build for anyone interested. It's this exact setup: http://redd.it/20mlqw

Nice! 200+ was your goal, wasn't it?

Also, really cool tablet install.

How are your track day plans looking for the rest of the year? When is track battle round 2 for us?

Taking this summer off from track days as I'm working a new part time gig at Porsche on weekends as a driving coach.

After my wedding this fall I'll gear up with fresh rubber and track pads, maybe even some boost.

Geez, what a rough life. Will you be coaching in their cars?

Also, congratulations!

The wedding, not the track pads. Congrats on those too, though.

Yes, their entire fleet (minus the 918, though there's a couple hanging around) on their 27 acre playground. It's also the new PCNA headquarters so there's about $150 million into the facility which was built to be a brand immersion and "Porsche Experience Center" for current and prospective customers to book experiences in any of the cars.

It's adjacent to the airport so if you ever wanna fly in and flog some P-cars let me know.

Will the low friction circle and low friction handling course be wet tracks, or have different surface materials?

They are dry but very finely polished concrete. Only the kick plate is wet with sprinklers lining the whole runoff area.

Had my cracked windshield finally replaced today.

Instead of the crappy OEM glass I went with an upgraded Solar Tinted windshield which is a big UV filter to keep my dash and my eyes happy.

Harder to see inside when it's in the sun.

I just wanted to compliment you on your excellent taste in music good sir.

Kverletak, Gojira, Mastodon put on a hell of show in Nasville back in November.

Thank you sir. I went to the Atlanta show to end that tour and it was amazing.

They brought out a crew of local strippers and random people in costume for an epic "Asstodon" version of "The Motherload" to close the show.

Gojira was insanely good live. Love those guys.

Just received the swiss army knife for the BRZ: the Beastronix 86 Nanny PD. Pushing the button activates the "pedal dance" to completely disable EBFD and traction/stability control (independent of coolant temp and time after starting). Also disables that pesky TPMS light! This thing will maximize track time and hopefully prevent uneven wear on my rotors!

Some more downforce arrived from Velox Motorsports!

Hope to install it this weekend along with some other goodies I've accumulated including the 86 Nanny PD and Quik-latches for my front bumper.
