Mine was rubbing on the rear cradle after I installed mine, probably could have adjusted it but decided it would be a perfect time for poly hangers. Problem solved.

Today i removed the Perrin exhaust and left the car with the invidia test pipe open, no rattle what so ever, what to do next?

Well after a long day of testing this exhaust out, i have come to the conclusion that the nasty "rattling" sound its coming from inside the exhaust.

Will contact Perrin tmw

Interested. Mine is rattling now really bad. Hoping new exhaust hangers help the issue.... but i'm not counting on it.

That 100% sounds like a leak, not a rattle. If you pull the cat-back and the noise is gone, it's probably either the gasket from the front pipe to the cat-back, or the v-band connections between the s-pipe and either mid-pipe or muffler.

I would bet it's the gasket at the front pipe/cat-back connection over the v-band connections.

sorry to revive such a old threat, but this is still going on it. I had it fixed for awhile by adjusting the S Pipe but im getting a really nasty rattle even when it sits idle. Could it be due to a exhaust leak? Thanks for the help guys.

Did you adjust the hanger that comes off the transmission mount?

2 12mm bolts, loosen them and push the bracket towards the passenger side of the car and then tighten them up.

My 3" perrin fit perfect but I had to do that ^^ to get my 2.5 version to stop rattling.

Just so everyone knows if there having a similar issue, I turned the S PIPE and put in a new gasket and the rattle seems to be gone so far.
