If they could have unlimited fuel flow and spun to 15k they'd probably sound a hell of a lot better

Practice 1 for Malaysia just wrapped up and Rosberg was P1 but because the NBCSN web feed has no sound, I'm not sure what happened, but Hamilton ran NO laps. Not sure if he had mechanical problems or what. (I missed the first hour)...........both Ferrari's P2 & P3 and only 8/10ths off. Of course Nico could be sandbagging, which seems to be common practice in F1.

Practice 2 is on NBCSN TV at 2 a.m. this morning.

Found it: http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2015/03/2...o-set-at-time/

During Practice 2 they showed what happened to Hamilton. Seems to have had a 'clicking' noise coming from the rear of the car and does not seem to be engine related as he told them on the radio that he could drive it back to the pits, but they told him to pull off. Came back out during Practice 2 and had telemetry problems but still managed to set fast lap. Eventually went to garage with no telemetry being received from the car.

Amazing how you can't drive a car without telemetry being sent to the engineers.....what, you can't read the gauges on that million dollar steering wheel? Can't tell them if the car is over/understeering without computers? It's a shame that a car is driven by the engineers from the pit box and not the driver in the seat...........

I'm curious what the regs say regarding telemetry. It might actually be against the rules to run without. But, considering the consequences if something goes wrong (alonso concussion) or the complexity of the power units, telemetry can could save the team from lost time, lost money or from liability even.

NBCSN replayed Practice 2 last night, not Practice 3. Makes no sense. Practice 3 was shown on the web feed.......

really dissointed in kimi's P11. I don't want to see him trailing behind Seb all year. Hopefully we'll see him pull off a good climb up to P4 or 3 tomorrow.

I've gained a bit of respect back for Vettel.

He drove a great race today.

Really nice to see how the race went today. I like the idea that there may be some competition for the championship this year.

I think Ferrari is basically just what RB was last year. They don't really have a chance to win the championship, but might take an opportunistic win occasionally if Mercedes makes a mistake.

Me too, I had pretty much written him off as just the guy who was lucky enough to have the best car for a few years in a row.

I gotta say, he was damn impressive. So was Ferrari in general actually.

I think the boys @ Merc were caught sleeping and I have a feeling they'll be more focused next round.

I was really hoping to see the Williams do better but oh well. Kimi, however, had all the bad luck in the world and STILL finished 4th but like true Kimi fashion, in the post-race interview he was really pissed about it. Just about any other driver would have been thrilled to finish 4th after starting near the back AND suffering a puncture!

Good race...

Lots of fighting for all positions...Congrats to Vettel and Ferrari for winning that one fair and square, although I doubt Mercedes is gonna make the same pit stragety mistake twice...

I'm especially impressed with the young guys running circles around the veterans...both STR cars finished ahead of RBR, now THAT'S embarassing...
