I guess I have to watch more jdm/drift/hotversion/bestmotoring, but they haven't been putting much stuff out since the split a few years back. |

Hey, give it time, you know, time zone differences, language barriers, stopping for tea, that all adds up to delays....

Now, there is a car show. I understand about one word in 7 that they utter but I will sit and watch those shows start to finish over and over. Why can't someone make something like that in English. And sign Keiichi Tsuchiya to host it. Great car show host! Even if I don't know what he is saying.

Hmm... Never realized the show has been going on since 1977.
Just a matter of a rework and they'll carry on. I think the BBC is smart enough to produce a significant change, rather than try to do the same thing as before with different yet the same 'role' presenters like in Top Gear USA.

Watch some of the first few seasons episodes where they tried to do real car reviews and you'll see why they got away from that. For example, Cpt. Slow used to do a "best deals" section for used cars. Interesting, but obviously very dated quickly. The bottom line is a "real" car show episode has no long term viability. By the end of that season, all the information is outdated and not worthy of syndication.
