Tein SRC impressions

I purchased a set of Tein SRCs from a local 86 member, and after driving on them for a few weeks now, I gotta say, these are spectacular. For 10k/12k springs, the ride is surprisingly smooth, I just feel every bit of the road. I daily the car, and have no complaints at all with the ride quality. I may have a higher tolerance than others, but it's really not bad at all. The whole kit is very high quality, and it's very easy to adjust the compression/rebound settings.

I ran at my local autocross, and it was nice to finally be able to drive a somewhat-prepped STX car. I've been running with stock suspension for the past year, and it's an incredible difference. Turn-in is amazing, while slaloms and transitions are much sharper due to the lack of body roll. There were many longer sweepers that I could take tighter and go heavier on the throttle because the grip was all there. I have to relearn the car again, because I can attack corners more accurately, hold tighter lines, and weave through slaloms much faster than before.

I've taken rides in many different BRZ/FRS setups, from stock, to the FRSport BRZ, to a supercharged FRS with Hoosiers that has more grip, power, and stickers than I'd know what to do with. The handling characteristics that the Tein SRCs provide prove to be very competitive with other coilover options, and are truly amazing pieces of hardware. I'd definitely recommend any AutoX/Track enthusiasts to definitely consider these Tein SRCs if you ever considered ASTs, MCS, RS-R, KW, or any other high performance coilover.

I'd also like to thank both @CSG Mike and @CSG David for guiding me through my installation issues. Currently I'm having troubles getting proper camber in the front, but we're all sure that it's my lack of installation experience rather than a defective part. Either way, they've been incredibly patient, helpful, and timely with all my questions and concerns, and I really am grateful for the help and insight they've provided with my questions and issues.

Glad to see they are working well for you! Are you planning to make the trip down to San Diego for the Nationals?

Unfortunately not
I have family stuff going on for the next three weekends, there won't be any National events I can attend this month. Hopefully Crows Landing, fingers crossed on that one!

Yes they are very supportive. I sent @David an email on Dec 31st, and he answered me on New Year's Day. I love my SRC's. Everything you said plus more. Auto crossing this weekend.
