We tried a VoG HM shotgun-only raid... UR as primary and whatever else, most were using Found Verdict, we couldn't get past Templar. Resorted to saying heavies were OK, and nearly had him, but kept getting glitches, then it just got too late and we said F it and raged through the rest in about 20 minutes using normal tactics. Might be more enjoyable and doable in NM, was a lot of fun until we hit the Templar brick wall.

Next week or two we have a dual sniper VoG HM raid, its likely gonna be moved back to NM, but either way, NLB plus another sniper will be.... interesting.

BTW a pack of 6 guardians with shotguns can take out oracles repeatedly, on demand, you just shoot through the immunity. 6 shottys = GODLY DAMAGE

That sounds fun. I'm definitely going to have to try it!

We usually just wipe and spawn back on the platforms up top where every person can take different vantage points for oracles with Icebreakers. We send one guardian down to pick up the relic and they just frolic around until we kill the Templar.

We normally do the same thing, sometimes making an attempt to manage oracles with the whole team down in the mix. We were surprised, shotguns were more stressful and fun at the same time, lol

@wheelhaus ever have room in your groups? Haven't played in a long while, might pick it up again. I did briefly play inferno when it came out, I was definitely rusted but surprised I didn't completely suck haha. Crota less buggy? Haven't tried hard mode because I hate the bugs in the crota raid.

Yeah man, never been a fan of Pulse Rifles but between the couple hours I got with RD this weekend and the buff I'm quickly becoming a convert. Might have to run some Iron Bounty this week and see how I fare.
@f0rge, I need to run the first part of the Crota Raid with my alternate character to see if I can get some armor, specifically the gauntlets. Wanna run through that part real fast tonight before the reset?

Also, can't believe how quickly we were able to run the Crota HM last night. What it take us, a little over an hour? It was awesome to get something other than a shotgun for once, looking forward to trying out The Hand of Crota when I get home tonight.

Yes lets do a quick run before dinner tonight, should only take about 15 mins. Cygnes wants to do the same thing on Tuesday again.

That was a great run, I think we wiped more trying to get that chest in the shrieker hallway than at Crota himself, which never happens. We got lucky with no glitches though, rare you get a run that clean on only your third attempt.

I got nothing except the raid helmet, luckily I still needed the raid helmet.

Okay that's cool, no big deal if you can't do it tonight we can just run it tomorrow if nothing else. I'll just make you run it twice so I can get a chance with both my characters.

That's cool you got the helmet, I still need the helmet and gauntlets. I'm just happy I finally got a couple of weapons other than shotguns, I always get shotguns. Ironically, I got a shotgun when I ran the NF with WhatsUp and Dante after we got done with the Raid.

I'll be on Xbox later in the evening tonight, so if you get on and I'm on there just shoot me an invite if you want to run the first part of the Raid real quick.

iron banner is no fun unless your 32... its impossible to do the bounties at anything less than 31, you simply cannot get a 10 kill streak 10 times and you cant go on headshot sprees when you have to use a whole clip to take down one player. i was really looking forward to running iron banner and grinding it out to get the gear and shaders but after two hours i gave up until im 32.

Doh didn't even see the mention, oops.. Yeah you should join! If you'd rather, I can just reserve a spot in a session if you know you'll be able to make it, but the whole group is a bunch of great guys, you'd fit right in. DC212 is full at 100 members right now but we can send invites to an additional 20 over that. We're usually on in the evenings and weekends and have sessions up all the time.

Crota is a little less buggy, but going to orbit seems to reset things nicely, also making sure the sword carrier is host can really help sometimes. Getting into a HM session with veteran HMers is easy, just need to set it up in advance so people can see it and sign up.

You can actually be pretty competitive all the way down to 27.
I saw a post on reddit that had data regarding damage and such.
