Uhhh... You ran it without any intake on it whatsoever, no rad, and empty of coolant.....?

Sure, also drifted around the street (if I crash, all could be repaired in one take). Any problems?

Nooo, no problems. It's your car! Why don't you take it for a good long drive to make sure everything is OK? Make sure there is lots of debris in front of the intake to keep things from getting sucked in. Rev it really high the entire time. The higher you rev it, the more air goes through the engine, and the air will keep the engine cool!!!

Had couple free days last week, thus decided to fix fuse box. Used fiberglass to cover damaged area:

Then I got it primed:

And lastly black paint. Spray can nozzle got clogged up after first layer (maybe 10 minutes between first and second layer was enough for paint to dry up in nozzle), thus spraying second, third layer was PITA. At the end it clogged up completely, but thankfully already had almost everything painted. You can only see some primer on left side. Anyhow, it is not part that you will look at often, so such DIY repair will work fine

Until the next time. Hopefully car will go to paint shop in couple weeks.

It's great that you are saving the BRZ from a near certain future at the junk yard or scrap pile. Great job OP! I've always wanted to do a project like this one.

Are you planning to return it to stock? Or are you going to kick it up a notch or two?

Awesome project

Awesome project
Couple notches, but all small upgrades. In first place will change all fluids (engine, transmission, differential) to Motul. Will install LED side markers/turn signals (need to have functional side turn signals here). Will also install rear fog light, as it required here as well. Also got LED lights for number plate and interior. Installing aftermarket android based head-unit and rear view camera (already have camera and headunit is on its way). And lastly K&N panel air filter is on its way.

Got in contact with previous car owner. It turned out that this car was beloved and taken care of, just drunk driver ran through red light (and you know how it ended)

All sound like good plans. At least it's getting a new life in your hands!
