Also, Where do you find those 17x8 Hanbai gt wheels you picked up? I can't find trm online anywhere.
At this point I am not even sure if they are those either haha. All I know is they are R33 GT-R exact replica just in different sizing and offset from Japan. If you like the look you can always go real R33 GT-R wheels which i eventually plan to do since I cant find any more of these current wheels for spares.

Well, I noticed they kinda look like the Wrx wheels, I use them as spares, and I want a set of these, but if i search for r33 wheels I only find the 17x9 +15 square 33 wheels. Those are awesome also but that offset is too low to use a conversion spacer and fit them.

You can find real R33 GTR wheels which are 17x9 +30 and you can run them with a small conversion spacer but it would require you to cut your stock studs.

Yes stock clutch with 30k so far. no signs of slippage yet but majority of the miles are just daily driving miles.

Went to Drift Day 51 at USAIR, did a few small tweaks and was super curious to try it out! Car performed the best it has yet but still needs work. My FR-S was able to hold its own, stock power and all, against some much faster cars and equally impressive drivers!

Still needs more setup test and tune, I have been able to calm down the twitchiness of the car everywhere except for when transferring my drifts. I tend to use the hand brake a lot to help slow down the snappy transitions.

My friend let me borrow his GoPro for two laps (ofcourse i mess up), first two runs are in my FR-S, last run is me driving my friends FR-S.

Hey Philstar, there's a drift event going on in my town this weekend, and I'm thinking about signing up and wanted to get some tips or info from you if possible.
For a stock car (other than the Innovate supercharger) what should I do to prep for the event? This will be my first drift event, and I'm still on stock tires even.

So I haven't updated this in ages so this will be more of a photo dump. Made a few small tweaks to the car, drove some events, drove Final Bout, crashed my car at Final Bout, currently fixing it back up in the garage.

Added Battle Version steering rack bushings, Megan inner tie rods for more steering angle, and upgraded my spring rates with some Swifts.

Also added a Tomei EL header and flashed to a 93oct Stage 2 tune using OFT.

Broke an exhaust hanger on some rumble strips at the track.

Broke an axle at Final Bout but we came prepared with 5 or so spare axles.

Our team, Funk Ad!

Around the end of the second day of Final Bout, I crashed my car into a concrete K-Rail, oops! I also cracked two of my R33 wheels throughout the event due to some extreme drop offs by the rumble strips.

This is why the drift community is so great. My friends from another local team had already left the event and were over 1.5hrs away and since my car was not drivable, they unloaded the car in their trailer and drove that car the rest of the distance and came back with an empty trailer to grab my car!

Stripped the car down to assess all the damage. Frame was straight but pretty much everything else was damaged. Hood, bumper, crash bar, core support, radiator, ac condenser, headlights, and all the misc other metal pieces.

Its good to have a close friends who does bodywork for a living!

Picked up a Street Faction crash bar, used white bumper with some scrapes and a bunch of broken tabs, a blue hood with a bunch of hail damage, a used stock radiator, used headlights with some scratches, etc etc to keep the cost of fixing as minimal as possible.

Now the car is currently in my friends garage getting the misc. pieces fixed and painted.

+ delivery (I've paid for a set w/o tires $500) I think your delivery will be around 250-300= 500-600 total.
