Keep in mind, there is a ton of restriction with all those cores in the front of the car. The fans help pull the air through those fins and aid in cooling. Also, we have found with a good tune and 100 octane, temperatures droped across the board despite running additional power. E85 will see additional benefits, but we proved that 100 octane alone is good enough. |

I've ordered a shroud from Carolina Dyno with two Spal VA10-AP70/LL-61S fans. I believe their kit plugs directly into the OEM harness. Last edited by romin; 01-24-2015 at 11:26 AM. |

If a fan draws about the same power as stock, it probably doesn't flow much more than stock. Even medium sized SPAL fans will blow the stock fuse. |

To the OP, my oil/water/egt temps dropped down quite a bit once tune was fixed...you're in TX so you may need more cooling...in North East summer on track, temps looked good...JRSC, JR oil cooler, Koyo, stock hood, euro castrol edge 0w30 (switching to Motul 300V 5w30 this season)

Short of the AFR being lean under load I don't know what would point to a heat issue. |

@CSG... what's your current full header back exhaust setup? Anything stock still? Stock catback?
