Hi! I will be going to Japan this May. I will be in Tokyo. Where is a good shop to buy parts? Is it cheaper in Japan compared to buying in the US when it comes to JDM parts? Thanks guys!

You can get all the parts from the Toyota shops (Netz or Corolla). But they will likely have to order them and it takes just 1-2 days typically.

Autobacs has very little. There are some used shops with good finds: up garage is one of them.

Hey Japan members I'm headed to Tokyo this week. Are Friday nights at the rest stops still a good place to go see cars?

Request

Hi I have a request from our Japanese members. I am considering buying a front license plate for my BRZ and want to have a Japanese phrase; however, I do not trust google translate. Would someone be willing to translate the word "Adulation" or "Freedom?"

Thanks.
the website www.proiz.com does events around japan for about 20,000 yen a pop, usualy 2 20-30min sessions. you can get a fuji speedway licese for 20,000 yen(short course and gyhmkana) or 40,000 yen(access to everything) then its 2600 yen for 25min on short course, and 6,000(not exact) for 30 min on the main track. sports land yamanashi is also a good place to look, havnt been there my self so i cant comment, but ive heard great prices and a decent track.

Thanks man, very kind. Do you know if I need to speak Japanese to get the Fuji license? (I don't!)

Hey guys,

I'm going to Tokyo Auto Salon in January, and I'm also planning to buy some gears (Arai Helmet, gloves, shoes) for 走行会. Is there any good gear shops (for 四輪用) to go in Tokyo? I'll be appreciated if any fellows in Japan can give me some suggestions. Thanks!

I will be coming to Okinawa this May and living there for a few years. How are the twisty roads there?

We have some windy roads, but no real track. It was mostly illegal stuff, but even that has gone away mostly.
