I drive slow still. But at this point. My stocks might have more grip.

<sigh> can't argue against facts. Cheap and lazy. I have strap-ons though.

its ok, most years we don't them around here, i'd say 2/5 you can get away with summers (for example this winter), 2/5 with good all seasons (continental DWS come to mind) and then you have the 1/5 years where we get dumped with snow, everyone stays home.

I just hated getting into discussions with people back east about why they need winter tires. yeah you can get around with all seasons, heck i knew a guy who got around 2 years on bald summer tires. just because he could doesn't mean he should have (and he'd readily admit it was a stupid choice)

I grew up in Western New York and would be the first to warn other North Easterners about the occasional treacherous conditions out here. Still better than salted roads.

That's cool. I'm sure that throttle control helps you stop in snow to?

No, but driving slower, and engine braking help in that scenario. Also, snow in portland happens once a year. If it snows, i guess I will just have to drive the subaru.

I'm amused with the amount of trolls there are on this forum. If you thought my comments were meant to be in that fashion, I assure you they were not,

My wife wants to try a stud strap-on. 2 questions:

1. Does it only hurt the first time?
2. Am i going to poop ok?
