The four support rods will clear without modification. As far as possible coolers and fog lights go, I can't say for sure since our test car didn't have those installed.

At the moment you can choose from either a 5" (What I have) or 3" version. We are working on an even more street friendly version that will be more of purely a lip protector type deal, although we don't believe that would benefit much in the aero department by itself the same way the 3" or 5" splitters would.

Also on CFD analysis, I would be careful saying what it can and cannot do unless you really know. CFD can in fact account for “flex” (deflection) in the system. Some programs need to be coupled with another program to do this, but saying it doesn’t is completely false.

Also, this "other" splitter which is solely mounted to the bumper cover is again false. It mounts to a structural support in the rear. Yes the street system deflects at high rates of speed, but for the street (sub 100 MPH) this is perfect. If it is hit on a curb, or going up a driveway, the splitter will deform instead of cracking like a carbon fiber piece. Even though the splitter is deforming, the forces transfer through the car, they don't just vanish because the bumper cover moves. Instead of going directly to the chassis, it travels through the bumper into the radiator support, which is structural. On top of that, if the user purchases the race upgrade, this directly connects the front lip of the splitter with the chassis. Actually the same mounting points were chosen by Wasp. So when you say it isn't pulling the chassis to the ground, this is false for both the street front splitter, and the race upgrade which is then chassis mounted at the front and the rear.

Please do not spread false information about other people's products or false information to the general public about CFD and wind tunnels.

I apologize if it was interpreted that way. Obviously, both CFD and wind tunnel testing have certain pros, and definitely certain cons. I think we both know that the only true way to get results isn't by numbers themselves, but by taking two identical cars with the same driver, on the same day, and simply comparing times between no splitter, splitter, etc. Obviously time would need to be allowed between laps so that tire temps could be controlled between the two tests.

In addition, to those of you thinking of the 5" version for the street, I wouldn't recommend it. While it is very effective and can really be felt at highway speeds, it extends so far even on a vehicle with a mild drop (I'm -1.2" in front) that it is difficult not to scrape in many instances. The 5" version is really only recommended for track scenarios. For street guys, I'd recommend the 3" unit.

I do believe that the version we offer and the version you offer are two different products for two different crowds, and each have their merits. I was unaware that CFD could account for flex, so I do appreciate the education on that account.

I also look forward to seeing the race version in action, I've been hearing good things about it from the guys over at Driveway Labs.

Had this splitter installed a couple months back. Works well with my Voltex S1 wing. Use to have just the wing and it had a lot of understeer. The car is a lot more balanced now. Looks great! I have it installed under my STi rep lip.

This is the 5" track splitter. It looks smaller in the picture because of the extra lip I have on.
