Exhaust-related mods:
  • Ptuning EL header
  • Tomei Overpipe
  • Tomei Straight Pipe
  • OEM Cat-back
  • HKS Intake Duct
  • Perrin Inlet Hose
  • OEM Air Filter Housing

91 Octane (California winter blend )
Sea Level (Long Beach, CA), 75-70F ambient
Church Automotive Testing

Thick red line is final tune. Lower green and red lines are baseline pulls, before tune. I don't have a baseline dyno of my car when it was stock, I added all the exhaust components at once.

I didn't get any CELs in the ~6 days I ran the header before the tune.

Very pleased with the results, thanks @ptuning!

What hood is that? I like how the vents look very discreet. Can you post up some more pics of it?

Nice juliog, those are great numbers.

I could live with a torque dip that narrow! Hey I'm curious, are the Tomei over and straight pipes, 3" or are they 2 1/2" ?

Next, I'll second jflogerzi with interest about an OFT tune.

Last, Pt tuning, perhaps its that special rotational firing collector? Either way excellent header.

Cheers juliog for stellar numbers from essentially only exhaust mods.

Tomei parts are 60.5mm, so about ~2.4". I've no plans to go FI.

Hood is Seibon DV, color matched.

198.5 on 91 and the stock catback? Impressive.

Were the baseline pulls the OEM tune with the exhaust components or a basetune file from the tuner? Any idea what other stock cars have put down on this dyno?

Church is a notoriously high reading dyno. Hard to say without a baseline of this car, but Edmunds project car was dyno'd there and made 184/155 w/just an Apex'i catback.

True, although the Edmunds test was performed in July. California's infamous winter blend is very likely to be limiting the gains.

I'll report back in Spring, when I go back to Church with a new cat-back and maybe Crawford Power Blocks..
