My wife curbed my and dinged the front alignment, FL wheel, and trashed my front clip and marker light.....one week after I got it back from $5600 of work from a damn deer strike.

I was pissed is just about the understatement of our 20 year relationship...god damn't.

She did kill the tire sidewall too, forgot to include that part. Guess that's why I have insurance. I've paid for that in years of premiums with no accidents I suppose. But I'm still not OK with it on my new car with less than 11.3k miles. She could have driven the Taco and nothing would have happened. It's done, it's spilled milk. I'm just torqued because she always states how careful she is then does this and won't cop to it.

No more FR-S for Mama for a while. She took it away from herself.

Looks like my new developing philosophy. Hope it hasn't already cost me this car's handling going forward. Don't think it will, but she's cut off until further notice.

In reality? I get young dudes checking out my new ride. Probably thinking "what's that older guy doing driving the car that I want!"

Had many, many, say "what a beautiful colour what kind of car is that?" or something along those lines when parked at a store or getting gas.

They work on BRZ....blame the fact its under scion in US. Cuz in Japan u can spec so much shit on these down to every detail.....I sorta want that 3.7 final gear instead of the 4.1 we get lol.

I believe the panels are reflective, so there's that.

I don't know if this is an issue that is happening to just me but the passenger side won't unlock unless the car is TURNED ON. I thought that was super weird because don't door locks work if the car is off?!

3 ways to unlock the pass door..

Remote - hit button twice.
Driver's side unlock switch.
Reach over like a caveman and flick the unlock tab on pass door.

Which one doesn't work?

Brings back memories of crawling across my 64 Impala (bucket seats, console and all) to pop the lock for passengers. Would have to be eight feet tall with 5 foot arms to reach over and do it.

LOL @ reach over like a caveman. #1 remote hitting button twice and #2 using driver's side unlock switch both don't work. Both may have worked ONCE or twice since I've gotten the car (car is a little over a year old), I'm not sure but this issue irks me!

hah I'd bring it over to the dealer unless you have a programming tool. I know there is a certain sequence of buttons to activate/deactivate certain things. You might have done it one day by accident or when you were getting used to the car playing around with all the new buttons. If they are a half decent dealer, they should take you right in and not charge a dime.

And just to get this out of the way .. you didn't take the door panel off and disconnect the switch .. right?

Nope, no programming tool in my possession. I didn't know there's a sequence of buttons to activate/deactivate things. That's pretty interesting! I'm a petite Asian female, they might feel bad for me and not charge me a dime if I look all innocent jk.
