MAF help
So' I been using VGI's tool to try and get my LTFT down to about 3% with an Injen Intake.
Howerver, this has been my results thus far... Each of these logs were an attempt at lower the LTFT, and are therefore with different MAF Volts and G/S values. Log 1: http://www.datazap.me/u/jokie/injen-1?log=0&data=1 Log 2: http://www.datazap.me/u/jokie/injen-2?log=0&data=1 Log 3: http://www.datazap.me/u/jokie/injen-3?log=0&data=1 Thanks |

Please, help me understand. How is this a good log.
Isn't my LTFT at the ~7%? What am I looking to when it comes to an healthy log? What is a good afr, STFT, LTFT, multiplier, etc..? |

A "good" AFR is dependent on how your driving, cruising AFRs are different to partial and full throttle. STFT will vary and its STFT that create the LTFT. So long as its not pegged too far from nominal, some say +/-10% then don't worry.
Advance multiplier should be 1 but if its not dropping below 0.9/0.85 then it's not the end of the world.

So' when looking at a log you first lay your eyes on the following:
Both STFT and LTFT should not be above 10% Advance multiplier should not be below .87 on full throttle? What else am I looking for? |

Look though the links in @steve99's Sig. Lots of info and you'll learn from reading rather than spoon feeding as its all there in greater detail.
Just remember the advance multiplier only drops if there's enough knock and will rise once over a load threshold and it learns that the knock is no longer there.

Because you have STFT averaging that. However the LTFT is set in regions rather than a flat trim across the range. It's because the MAF is out somewhere, however if the AFR isn't totally out of whack or producing lean ratios then I wouldn't worry.

Advance multiplier was also 1 across the board so your car is likely not pulling timing unless it's out of "KC Learned". If KC learned in the logs matches your advance multiplier(must be 1 or it's retarding timing due to knock correction) multiplied by "knock correction max advance A" in the active cell, then you're running full timing. |
