RPF1 OEM Valve Stem Question

Hey everyone,

Has anyone purchased new RPF1's and used the stock BRZ/FRS TPMS sensors with the red valve stems that come with the wheels? I'm kind of new to TPMS sensors and have heard I may need a universal TPMS band to get the stock TPMS into the new RPF1 wheels.

Thanks

Did you just not use the red stems? I guess the guy I bought them from was meaning if I wanted to use the red stems that I could get the universal band and then just mount the TPMS sensor inside the wheel and not use its valve stem?

I have the TMPS sensors in my RPF1's as well, using the valve stems on the sensors like stock.
