At least two of us playing have kids, so we don't really get a chance to get on until late. Are you level 27 yet? If we end up with an open spot, you're welcome to come die repeatedly as well.

My daughter definitely abbreviates my game time, so late night is the only time I can hit the cave and just hang out there for a few hours.

Last night was pretty messy, especially on my part.
I kept using the shield melee to get out of the digital stasis bubble, but it would put me outside the bubble and I'd see static and die within seconds. I think that's a bug, doesn't seem fair.

We seemed to be doing OK, just couldn't get enough damage on the boss. I'm going to do some research to see what actually triggers the enrage, if we can avoid or delay it further, should be cake.

Yeah I know you guys got kiddies haha. I'm lv28 hunter bladedancer and lv27 (just 2 light away from 27) warlock voidwalker.

Just remember what we did with @tahdizzle worked pretty well. Enrage is triggered by time, I think both bosses will enrage after a few minutes.

Yeah, we were discussing it last night a bit after everyone left, and then bash and I have been reading/watching a bit. Seems like the shield bearer needs to open a can of whoopass on anything possible, especially oracles since they seem to instantly charge the super. I jumped out of the bubble with the shield too and couldn't figure out why I died. Jump R2 for titan super equivalent looks like it might be the best way out.

We just need to stop missing with the super and take out every oracle since grouping to cleanse wastes time. As 00 said it seems like a time-based enrage, like many other games. So we need his shield down almost all of the time so we can just unload.

edit: I'm up for the walkthrough positioning. Relic carrier and one on the left side, and if you get marked it is the player's responsibility to collapse onto the relic carrier. RC whoops all ass and keeps the Templar shield down as much as possible and we can burn him much quicker.

After reading that strategy article a few things make more sense, I have a couple things I'd like to try differently for the Templar.

After that it's the Gorgon maze, seems pretty easy, grab left chest, reset, grab right chest, reset, grab exit, just practice the paths.

The Atheon fight is pretty complex because so much needs to happen, and any one death will need a reset, (especially so after the upcoming patch)... It's easy once you know what to do and how to do it, but going through the motions first few times is tough. Hopefully tonight we can at least make it to Atheon.

I think that his positioning makes a lot of sense, keeps the relic holder safe, he can rage on the harpys in the back to charge the super, and we have a good spread of firepower to do two things: distribute harpys so they're easier to take out (instead of swarming heavy on one spot) and better coverage for oracles and Templar distraction. If we happen to get marked, run to the relic holder (gray icon on screen) and return to your position.

Also, this was a bit too advanced for our run, before the templar teleports, there is a white ring that will indicate where he will teleport to.

If a person is standing in that ring, the templar will not teleport and his shield will remain down. (This is how you get the bonus chest. If you can kill the templar w/o it teleporting)

Also. It is much simplier to designate a spot (when we ran, we designated a spot) for everone to rally to when they are marked for a cleanse.

We did that. Occasionally had people missing the cleanse or something. We'll get it, just general progression since we were only in there for a couple hours.

At this point it looks like the rest of the week may be out unless we get something tonight. Wheel was up for it last night, but nobody else on wanted to go. Thought about asking tahdizzle but figured he's going for hardmode now, and I'm not going to ask him to sacrifice the chance at dem sweet lewtz.

So again, if you want to take a few shots at it (on PS4) tonight I'll see who's on around 9:30-10:00 Eastern time. n0tCJ has expressed interest in going too, so we'll see.
