I had some fun on Saturday in the Blue group trading places with @smbstyle and I quickly learned soon after giving him a point by (at 2m30s in the video) that trying to run the same cornering speeds as him without R Comps is a losing battle! This session was pretty sloppy for me anyways with a missed shift, lots of over braking and too conservative a driving line but I still had a blast!

Edited down my fastest laps from Sunday at Barber
[ame]http://youtu.be/G8oPjdjHTOk[/ame] The car was running a 50% ethanol cocktail and lots of timing advance to help me turn a 1:52.3 towards the end of the session. Early on a silver Cayman S gave me a couple point by's and then floored it as an insult to my poor Slowbaru's lack of torque |

Also, I've heard forced induction is good for extra torque. Just a rumor though. |

Some interesting perspective of my car during a Blue group session, shot from @smbstyle 's BRZ (running R comps).

Is that what ended up causing the exhaust fitment problem?

No! The MF front pipe fits with the stock or aftermarket over/midpipe and was not the cause of my fitment problem with the Tsudo catback. That issue turned out to be a defective muffler section (either the hangers, the piping, or a combination of both) which was not lining up with the Tsudo midpipe flange regardless of which front pipe was installed. I have already shipped it back and I'm expecting a refund on the Tsudo catback today from SE Motors.

I replaced the MagnaFlow with a Tsudo catted front pipe which also fits perfectly. The Tsudo front pipe is 2.5" all the way through and the cat is a smaller high-flow and it's much louder. I like it but I want a 2.5" catback with a chambered muffler to quiet it down a little bit.

Raised the ride height a few millimeters, dialed the dampers back to comfort settings and swapped pads/wheels.
I always enjoy going back to the stock wheels and tires. The low grip makes scooting around town fun and exciting again. Plus they ride softer and quieter than my Bridgestones, which is a nice change. |

I just got my RCE yellows in, so mine will look similar to that before too long. Have you had any issues with the OEM wheels fitting over the AP Sprints? I know @ZionsWrath was looking for spacers to clear his Sprints.
How did the diff bushings and shift springs feel at Barber? |

Here are some more pics with different perspectives from when I first installed these spacers with the stock wheels last December when the car still had RCE Yellows on the stock struts. The diff bushings felt amazing on track. Paired with the subframe insert bushings, the drivetrain slop is all gone and the NVH increased slightly and I can hear the diff whine sometimes when I'm listening for it, but it's worth it. The shift springs just make the shift action feel heavier due to the springs being stiffer, so I enjoyed them on track as well when I was throwing the shifter around with aggression. |

I understand about the springs being heavier. I like them because there's a definite action to the shifter now instead of it amorphously going from 2nd to 3rd. |
