Yeah, I made the thread so that people could see this particular model and size separate from the other thread where there is confusion among the models and sizes How are you liking that wheel fitment with the 255 tires? I had these 245/40 tires sitting in my garage so they were the obvious choice but I want to go meatier next year |

I been thinking about getting the same wheels for my ISF. Here is a really crappy shop with paint... what do you guys think?
If I get them I will get 255/40/18 tires because it will give the same overall diameter as my stock wheels |

fitment?
i'm sorry if i am just blind on trying to find this on the wheel directory or fitment guide but i read all 23 pages of the main 720 flow form page and this one and am not totally convinced on what works and what doesn't for fitment on stock suspension.
i know all tires vary a little bit but i'm trying to way options on GTF2's in 9" all around on hankook ventus 12 EVO 2's 255/35/18. can this happen with the stock perch or is there rub or full wheel lock issues? i need tire width for the back to keep the power from the turbo to the ground but even if this tire with the 9" wide GTF2 can fit a 10" in the back with a 265 or 275 seems a little overkill/deadweight? i really like a flush rim with sidewall/bulge poke of the tire itself and not the rim. If i can't find answers might have to play it safe with GTF1's on 17 staggering front at 8" and 9" in the back to be safe with factory perch. If i went that way could be cheaper on lighting up my rear tires with the turbo and having to replace them often and maybe still be able to a 1" coil drop? Also the 8" in the front would probably pull the front back to flush instead of the slight poke in the front like OP picture? input would be well appreciated.. |
