I have it on my calendar, and may come out for Sat only to do part of the way. Not 100% sure yet as it is quite far for me, and means an early morning. But hey, you guys do it to come out to our drives so...

As far as I know, they mentioned on the news that the fire is further north of 120, away from the road

Howdy folks!

I just spoke with Herb, who is the Datsun Roadster guy who puts this on every year. He shared with me to have folks come along to the Chevron around 8:30 or so to make sure we got on the road by 9. I have to drop the dogs off at the kennel right before, so I may be arriving right before we split. If you do make it, please go right up to the gentleman in the bright yellow roadster (KA24DE'd) with a black rollbar and introduce yourself! I will be bringing the FR-S (air con, baby!) and we'll have a great time. Bring some food for yourself/share for the potluck each afternoon and make sure you have reservations for a hotel in Minden/Garnerville if you are staying overnight!

Beautiful roads and sights, drove through Yosemite this summer and had a blast. Can be quite busy during the day, but at night.. it's just awesome.

Watch out for wildlife crossing the road though... I came across deers a couple times.

Awesome Eric !! I'm pretty stoked and excited since this is my first run in my brz . If anyone wants to meet at my pad prior to meeting at chevron I live less than a minute a way from the chevron in oakdale

what kinda food is everyone bringing ?

I'd love to see a bigger NorCal86 run through the pass sometime. It's such fun!

Here at work I just want to be driving again !!!! A bigger run with a bunch of us would be so sick, especially if a greater mob came . We should plan as the weather gets better , I'm down to do a hike too if anyone else is !!
