Someone mentioned you guys used to meet up near San Pedro Square in DTSJ. I think that's a great idea! I missed out on the Verde meet in Cupertino too... it was a good meetup spot as long as you guys parked in the Sears lot, right?

Rivermark Plaza. Near Mission College/Montague Expwy. Parking here sucks, but there is a small garage um, circled in red.

St. Johns is a really nice place to eat. Lawrence and Arques. Wednesdays are 1/2 off burgers, and outdoor seating is spacious enough to accommodate us all. But parking may be disastrous. Anyone know if the areas in red are available for parking?

Will have that as option for next week for sure.

1. Mountain View: Think one time we try Palo Alto and it was not working well... so Googleville trip needs to be clear off any event, concert, etc (i went to concert there so many times and cos i hate traffic, i always check)

2. Cupertino Verde: It was a good spot cos there are a lot of eating option the turnout was good last time. It might be an option.

3. On Rivermark: it does get crowded... but if u look closely, there is a police station in the same complex. I am not sure if everyone is 100% comfortable with their "hearable" mods - But, the station is empty most of the time...

4. On St. John: We had a meet there before. I am not sure what everyone else did for parking. For the reference for those in red boxes, they are office buildings so im not sure. The food is definitely good here.

Sorry everyone, I was just going off of the suggestion from last week's convo...

Anyhoo!

Although I love St. John's, the first and last time we had the meet there (sometime last year?) parking sucked royally because of the 24hr fitness.

Pieology parking seems to always suck.

McCarthy used to be the main spot until @FiRSt took over for the winter. Maybe that should be the main go-to for warm weather nights.

Seems Mercado has been ok.

San Pedro Market had a good turn out the one time we were there but parking in the garage was questionable, to say the least.

Pho Mai #1 on Landess, everyone seemed to like that place. The Target there is pretty dead and has good parking closer to the Landess side of the lot. Also, Seasons Marketplace is across the street with a few Filipino selections.

San Jose Market Center at Coleman and Taylor is probably still too south for most?

K that's my offering.

we've met at Smoke Eaters (hot wings!) at Mercado a few times, that seemed to be a popular spot (good turnouts).
(for next week's consideration)

When's the next meet?

Any consensus for the next meet? I'm in Palo Alto.
Cheers

Many of the East Bay folks were able to come out either because it if right off milpitas and they are going against traffic and same with those from San Jose and further South, against traffic.

Let's drill down to 3 for this week:

1. Same food truck at Mission College - Moveable Feast (parking is easier than i thought)
2. Mc Cathy Ranch (Starbucks and lots of other food option across the street)
3. First Street Pieology

Pick one and i will post for the one that get most vote

I'm in north SJ so any direction other than towards Fremont is usually traffic free for me. Mercado is good!

I was thinking the Coleman/Taylor plaza too, but wasn't sure where to park. Smashburger... yum

alright down to either Pielogy and McCathy...

Let's do McCathy this week and Pielogy next week. The next 3 destination in line would be:

1. 9/10: Mercado (SmokeEater or Food Truck cos they are close to each other)
2. 9/17: Pho Mai

After that we will add more... I will post on both here and 86drive calendar.

Thanks for all the input.
