Hmm. That's strange because I ordered mine that same day. Maybe they had too many orders by then and some people ended up being included in the second batch instead?

Now that I've spent some time with these EL headers, I've learned a few things:
* They weigh 14.5 lbs +/- .5 lbs (my digital scale is very acurate but not very precise)
* The OD is 60 mm
* The ID is about 58mm

I also took a few pictures:

I'm getting ready to install them now after I just finished grinding a seized nut off of the stock overpipe.

Can someone tell me how this thermal insulation sheet is best used? Do I stick as much of it as I can to the oil pan or apply it strategically or something?

Tomei EL headers + overpipe + frontpipe + 60S initial impressions:

I started out with the Tomei 60S catback and stock everything else, and I installed the Tomei EL headers, overpipe, and frontpipe today. When I started it up, it was "I better not plan any 4am trips" loud. After about a minute, it quieted down to a pleasent level and stayed there as I backed it out of the garage. However, when I drove it up the (very steep) driveway, I caught myself thinking, "Uh oh, I bet the other side of the neighborhood just shook." It's pretty tame when I'm just cruizing, but as soon as I put any kind of load on it, it's almost unbearable. I expected all of this based on the way the car sounded before, but I imagine I'll be driving with the silencer in when I'm not at a track.

I had a to grind a siezed nut off of the overpipe/frontpipe joint durring disassembly, but installation went fairly well. My doghnut gasket is bad, but I knew that already. The one problem I had was trying to tighten the inner, driver-side flange nut because the headers and oil pan blocked all access for normal wrenches and even ratchet extensions. I couldn't even fit a deep-well socket in there. I had to use a normal socket on a bendable ratchet and not put the socket all the way on the ratchet. As such, I couldn't use a torque wrench on it.

Videos to come.

Does your front pipe have a cat or a resonator in it? What about the catback, does it have a resonator?

The front pipe is a straight pipe and the catback has two small resonators.

Whoooo cannot wait for the video! How's the rasp level? Thought of going the same route except with the 60R... but it might be just too much. Wonder when the sleep deprived mob will knock on the door! Hahaha

With no cats the exhaust note will be very raspy. The resonators will help some, but not as much as a cat will. Magnaflow makes a [ame="http://www.amazon.com/MagnaFlow-51933-Stainless-Catalytic-Converter/dp/B00AOKZB14"]catted resonated front pipe[/ame] for not too much money. That should quiet it and smooth the sound out nicely.

Here is a big audio demo of my exhaust with the EL headers, overpipe, front pipe, and resonated catback all from Tomei. The video is pretty long, but the description has some times of interest.

You can get rid of this sound via romraider, it isn't as if you have a cat in the header to warm up anymore so it is just a whole heap of whoopla for nothing.
