FS: My SiS Audio Setup

Hi All, i'm selling my audio installation by SIS:

Absolutely nothing is wrong with the entire system at all, SiS is building a bigger and better upgrade for me and I would like for this system to be sold, most likely at the time of installation if possible:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36081

Installation will happen within 2-3 weeks, please PM me for details and prices.
I'm lowballing the the cost of all the parts, it's an awesome sounding system for passive.

For the best result, probably will be good if you asked SiS to perform the installation for you while taking out my parts.

Since there's not going to be a lot of custom work, it'll probably be cheaper for the install.

Thanks!!

What do you mean by "passive"? I don't understand that in this context.

So passive and active (don't take offence by the site, it's just the only one I can reference that's the easiest to understand):

hope that helps =D

Yeah, I know passive vs. active, I guess I just got confused because of the 5 channel amp. I had assumed the amp in the trunk was running the door speakers as well as the sub, but upon looking closer I guess it's only wired up to the sub and the head unit is powering the front speakers?

.. I believe the amp is also powering the speakers. as well.

signal goes from head unit --> amp --> (split) sub + speakers.

I think the build log has that detail as well =D

Here's the snipit from that thread:

now let us take a closer look at the amp rack. a single arc audio xdi-805 5 channel, bridged into 3 channel mode, powers the entire system. the front illusions get 240 watts a piece, while the sub channel, running at 4ohm, sends roughly about the same amount to the sub.

I believe they are. They are not Li+. They are brand new batteries. They are the low profile flat pack style, easier for tight spaces and lighter. Charge fully and quickly.
