I called the office today and they said that they expect to get it back from being made this week and would be shipped out early next week. Hopefully it arrives sooner rather than later.

Garage
I went in and looked at it. Literally two hours later I was informed that I was being relocated.

For the best, I would have put a miniramp in there and pissed off a million car kids.

I wouldn't buy property in Hamtramck for $9 let alone $99,000.

Now, if you could move that garage out Royal Oak or West Bloomfield or some other suburb.. then it would be awesome.

Have you guys been following this M1 Concourse project in Pontiac?
http://www.m1concourse.com/

I've been on the mailing list for it. No way could I afford to buy in.. but it's cool to watch.

If you're not aware.. It's a condominium project for automobile garage storage units. A big complex with a couple hundred units of varying sizes. Each has a garage door and high ceilings and a loft. You can build it out to have living space, bathrooms, etc. I would think most would install a lift or two inside. The complex has meeting rooms, parking area, and in theory a small autocross style track.

The only problem is that they want big money for each unit.. I think the last I heard was they would be between $60k and $100k per unit, but I'm not sure exact pricing has been released.

I think it would be really cool to have your own man cave/garage in a community of other garages surrounded by car guys.

Wish I could afford it

If they included a large apartment on the second floor that I could live in, I would legitimately consider it. Unfortunately, they have said they are not zoned for living so its a hang out/workspace only.
