I am currently in the process of seeing if the Avalon antenna will work on the FRS. I'll be back with some updates later and pics too.

Sorry about the late update. It's on the car right now and looks amazing. But I'm working on the functionality issue right now. More to come later. But till then here's a pic.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1406574499624.jpg

So I've got the new antenna installed. The part number is 86960. It's for the Avalon, but I know they also put them on the Camry. It no not plug and play though. There is a little bit of modifying to make it fit. The reason it dosen't work is because the stock FRS antenna has a built in amplifier in it and this new one draws power from another one. So I'll work on functionality later. I'll probably just unwire it and rewire the original antenna and mount it inside the car somewhere. But as of right now my car just looks sexy.
Some size comparisons to the g37 antenna

Disassembled

In the above image you'll see the small nub that needs to be cut off and sanded down to fit onto the car
And now some installed pics

@kcco-whiteout Thank you for all the pics

Why no company has jumped on offering a plug n play option yet is a head-scratcher. Yes, it won't be cheap, but it is a much better looking option than the sharkfins or shorty antennas...
