Question about these springs?

Hi I was looking at the Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs. I want a nice drop, but I don't want to sacrifice the ride quality. How are they at with the ride quality never had springs. I had coilovers on a B5 A4 and the quality was so crappy and not trying to get coils again for my frs. Just looking for the best springs possible.

Also any one have photos of their car with their springs on it because I want the car to be nice and low too.

Best springs for ride comfort would be RCE Yellows.

If you want low, you need coilovers. If you don't want it to ride like crap, you need to buy quality coilovers.

We only have like 2.5" of bump travel stock, so if you drop it 1.5" (like the sportlines do) you only have 1" of bump travel. Coilovers will have shortened shock bodies so you have more bump travel.

What coilovers did you have on your A4?

Yeah I don't want it too low just want it low so I can put rpf1s on it so it doesn't look stupid with a big wheel gap.

I had st on the a4

I had my sportlines on for about 6 months and it was great for the drop it gave me. The ride quality was a little more bumpy than stock but it was liveable. I would highly recommend the ST suspension coilovers if you can dish out that kind of money. It's the best bang for the buck coilovers for the DD. I just got them installed yesterday and I LOVE them.

The Sportlines are too low to keep close to stock ride comfort. Yellows or Eibach's Pro kit is better suited to retain OEM feel while still getting a decent drop.

Everybody's tolerance is different, and it simply depends on your roads. I have sport lines - on good roads there is not much difference, small bumps are handled about as well as stock. As others have alluded to, with the shortened travel you will feel potholes, drain grates, etc etc much more. I just avoid them, but some places have abysmal roads - if that is the case just spend the extra dough on coil overs, you'll be better off in the long run.

Sorry @Racecomp Engineering, I couldn't find your springs locally That was my only deciding factor between Yellows and the springs I ended up with.

Oh no worries! Understandable. And Swifts are quality too.
