It is pearl. SWP just isn't as pearl as others.

I'm against the whole swapping engine. its almost easy way out to make hp. I appreciate it if they were to use engine that matches the size of the car, such as 3sgte or ej20. Look at cars like AE86 and swapping a s2000 motor. That combination works, its got power and handling. Its functional. Or add a cutting edge parts or Force induction kits that will benefit where it lacks. This car with 2jz will not benefit anything by adding this heavy engine other than drag racing and showing off to the APC lover.
Similar to what the other user posted on integra with v8. its ridiculous

You can usually find a decent used Aristo 2JZGTE for about 3k. If you look hard enough you can find a Engine+V160 Trans for $5k

Tell that to D1GP drivers that are pushing 1200hp 2jz powered s-chassis.

I for one am a purist that doesn't like any cross chassis swaps, I don't even like these Cosworth EJ swaps but I recognize the advantage of a proven high hp motor.

Not really. Toyota and Subaru obviously put in an underpowered motor as many racers seem to be doing swaps and FI kits. The 2JZGTE is a legendary motor, one of the easier to make power, and one of the most bulletproof at the same time relatively.

Big whoop if they added 300lbs with this motor. They'll adjust the car's suspension accordingly, not putting on econobox tires like from the factory to start, and the car will still handle incredible while having the much-much needed thrust. There's more than turns on a race track, and there's need of power not just on straights as well. Some people are so, i guess ignorant, that they think that cars that weigh more can't handle, at all, and that there's no benefit to added power. Deal with it.

I'm curious to see how this project turns out.

Big whoop? Are you kidding me? If you think you can fix how bad you'll end up ruining the weight distribution and therefore the overall dynamics of the vehicle with simple "suspension adjustments" then you've lost your mind. The most this car will do is drift and drag, no way on god's green earth will they be doing anything worthwhile course racing.

And you have the nerve to call me ignorant after saying something like that?! I should have a steamroller air-dropped on top of you .
