I always thought the silver accents were really nice on the inside of the FR-S. I guess I caught the "paint in black" syndrome with the FJ and never really returned

Welp, I backed out of the Kraftwerks supercharger. Financially just not ready for all the assisting parts needed for a properly done Rotrex build with the oil cooler, catch cans, etc.
It's just going to have to wait. Kinda bummed, but that's life for ya. I'll just enjoy what I have. |

I like the legacy style oil cooler... much cheaper, oem, don't have to remove the problematic front bumper... hopefully it's sufficient for FI. What made you avoid the innovate SC?

Also, I've been seeing tons and tons of people getting rid of their innovate SC's so it leads me to believe there's quite a few issues with the blower, among other things. Even the owner of Nameless Performance got rid of his, so yeah... I think there's something going on with them. They're also limited on power a lot. The intercooler is pretty weak and barely does anything from what I read. It's a lot of low end power though which I would mostly be driving in for DD so it has its perks. The cost ultimately brought it more than the Kraftwerks kit at $4100 intercooled vs $3500 for the KW kit. Last edited by FR-S Matt; 05-30-2014 at 04:29 PM. |

LOL second on the coffee at the moment. Yeah I knew there were other options out there, just could not remember. I personally just like the Koyo quality on their radiator so I wanted to integrate that somehow

why not just start with the assisting parts as something between now and the SC?

Kraftwerks oil cooler with a thermostatic sandwich plate Koyo Radiator Exedy Stage 1 clutch (stock clutch starts to slip at very high RPM's but not required) I may start working on some of them. |

Clutch isn't necessary right away, should only need one catch can with a sc really, and radiator is a maybe. The oil cooler is a must it sounds like, I know you are over building to be safe but even counter space isn't running a diff radiator in their mule car iirc, yet
