In regular Android there is a menu option in system settings to choose equalizer. It seems we gave no access to change the active equalizer

I got Viper working! Turns out to get it working in Poweramp you have to turn off Direct Volume Control in the Audio Settings of Poweramp. Also, turn off EQU and Tone in the Equalizer screen in Poweramp. Then I turned on the equalizer in Viper for "Phone Speaker" and the audio changed as I manipulated the EQ, also worked in Pandora!

Hey guys, I tried to get my USB adapter that I bought from the Amazon link in this thread working and it won't plug in.

Looks like the one I got has 4 pins in it and the plug in the car has 5.

Anyone able to confirm how many pins the USB adapter should have? I think I may have been shipped the wrong one, but I can take a picture if someone wants to compare.

Oh and the adapter I got was brown, not gray like the picture.

*Edit* Are you supposed to remove the oem cable plugged into the USB port and replace it with this adapter or does the adapter plug into the oem cable for the USB port? I'm a wiring noob when it comes to this stuff and I tried to remove the usb plug but its hard to reach so I thought I would ask first.

Got mine in on Friday, installed it and most everything is working well. Forgot to wire up the amp power line on Pin #9 but luckily remembered people talking about that a few pages ago. My current problem is that there's almost no space for apps; also, I was trying to install Co-Pilot (20-something MB according to Play Store) and it said I didn't have enough space even though it looks like I had a few 100MB available.

I saw a few pages ago that there was talk of a firmware update that would resize the app partition potentially. Is this the case? Any solution to get more app space?

Thanks!

EDIT: I was able to install via side loading. Another question I have... is there a known way to replace the CaFi home screen? If not, is there a way to reprogram what app the GPS button & "CarNavi" GUI button open? Also, when I push the Radio button when I'm in another app, it typically switches to the next "mode" (e.g., FM1 -> FM2 -> FM3 -> AM1...). Any way to disable this? I just want to push radio & switch stations.

Still waiting on that update...... partition size is ridiculous.
You can set GPS button in settings. I set it to Google now

Realized my lights on the unit stay on after the car is off with the headlight option enabled, as someone else pointed out. Anyone figure out a fix other than turning headlight option off?
