Eneos Oil order mistake

Hey everyone, I just ordered a whole bunch of Eneos Oil by accident when I wanted Eneos Sustina oil instead. How different are these two, and does anyone want to buy any of the regular oil? :P

I know Sustina is supposed to be significantly better, but would it be a bad idea to run the two oil changes worth of base oil I just got? Worth returning and getting Sustina instead? Thanks for your opinions!

@Bobo Honestly you should be okay. I ran regular ENEOS for first two changes and it was without issue.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=33 (This UOA includes both types of oil)

I'm sending out my most recent Sustina sample out today for analysis (8000 miles on sample), will be running Sustina for 2 changes since I got 2 cases for $50 from a friend.

By the way: NAPA sells regular ENEOS for way cheaper versus some of the sponsored vendors on the forums.

Compare at $72 for 6 quarts from forum sponsor, vs ~$50.75 for 6 quarts from NAPA even with tax included.

Engine will imminently blow - send to me for disposal prior to catastrophic failure.

1 gallon (4 quarts) $30, that's $10 each quart. Even the 12-pack (good for 2 changes) is $9/quart.

NAPA price is $7.74 each quart before tax.

Guys, you are right. I thought it is a 5qt jug, but I am obviously wrong. Can never take anything for granted!

Regular Eneos is a waste of time. It's pretend synthetic. What's the VI? 190 or something like that. It's slightly thinner than Mobil1. Go full Sustina or go RedLine/ RoyalPurpleHPS/ Motul/ Millers. The real issue is HTHS and group3+ vs group4. If it's me, my first choice is the new Pennzoil Platinum or Ultra w/PurePlus. GTL. Group3+. 0W20, of course, except RP, which has to be 5W20. All of this is IMHO. Cheers.

Eneos is JDM, therefore your argument is invalid.

I made same mistake on first oil change haha. I couldn't find a local place with sustina so I ordered from an ebay. But the 2 times I order was shit delivery time. Now I just put in Motul I order on ebay too, took 2 days delivery.

Gonna stick to motul since I see a lot of track guys run it and I can't be bothered to red BITOG to gain 1% engine life.

Just call me donut hole, sshole. I lost track of all of the greatness that the Eneos name stands for. There really is no such thing as an Eneos mistake. It was just an Eneos accident

BTW is Motul short for More Tool? Just asking.
