Put on my Rota Titan 17X8's in gold this weekend. Wrapped in Continental DW 225/45's, and lowered on Eibach Pro's. Very happy with the look.

Can you take a close up angled pic of the spokes and dish like post #126? I'm curious if they keep the same concavity at 8" as the 9". TIA.

So you ordered them in gold, not sports bronze? I am not a fan of this color. I like the sports bronze color better but wheeldudes web site is throwing me way off, especially when you are looking at all their wheels labeled color as sports bronze and then you look at the Titans in the 17x9 also labeled as a "sports bronze" and it looks like a gold wheel. I asked if they could open a box of one and send it to me. Hopefully they will and if its the color I want ill buy them tomorrow. Haha

A slip on 3mm spacer would probably be the easiest way to get a little more clearance and you should still be able to use the factory studs.
Hey looking at your picture here is this the amount of clearance I will have if I take off my stock wheels and run a 17x9 with a +42 offset with 245/40/17 tires? I was hoping to run 255's but from your picture it does not look like I can run the 255 :-(

It depends on the tire as the section width varies by brand but running ZIIs I don't see 255's clearing. I would personally try but have 3mm spacers on hand just in case the clearance is too tight. I know Mach V stated that they fit 255's on their 17x9+42 wheels running stock struts but I don't know what tires they used. Good luck!

Rota Titan Hyper Black (Silver) 17x8 +45

Rota Titan Hyper Black 17x8 +45 5x100
These are wedssport tc105n replicas
no spacers
RSR super down springs
stock 215 tires

I didn't think anyone has posted pics of the Titans in Hyper Black yet.

I'm pretty happy with the wheels. Even with the weak offset, they still have a slight concave look.

I tried out some gold lug nuts but I wasn't really feelin it. Threw black ones on there after. Heres pictures with both

Looks good. I have Rota Toque in Hyper Black. Like my wheels, but I need some spacers.

Rota Titans are one of there lightest wheel. These should be mid to high 17LBS.

I know the 17x9s weigh 17.8 lbs, so i would guess just below that.
