Toyota will refuse to do it, they are sticking to the back to basics sports Japanese light weight sports car theory, in the future we might see a more powerful tuned version or larger displacment, and lighter now that the Mazda is claiming under 2400 lbs for the new 200bhp 2015 miata

They make a turbo FRS. You will find it in the aftermarket but you have to do it yourself.

Why don't you just buy a brz and add a turbo... the resources are out there..

Toyota has 10,000 LFA engines they need to use. The '16 will have an LFA engine.
