I don't have a picture and I already rolled it up so you wouldn't be able to see it. Easy to spot if you peak under the fender though. Just behind the sidemarker light it's the only part that sticks out parallel to the ground. About 1.5 inches long. *sigh* I hate having to say that.

Tires for 18x8.75-18 +35 mm wheels on Eibach Sportlines
That looks killer. Noob here. I just bought a 2014 BRZ limited last week. I ordered some Eibach Sportlines and XXR 18x8.75 +35mm wheels. I'm debating on tires now. I don't want a super stretched tire but I also don't want a tire that's too wide and buldged. This is my daily driver now so it needs to be "issue free." Any suggestions? I've read all 29 pages of this. I'd like to have the widest issue free tire I can use with these wheels and suspension. It seems that maybe a 245/35-18 and a 255/35-18 would be the widest I can run without issues?

anything more than a 255 will bulge on the 8.75" wheel...also depends on the brand of tire, do you know what brand/etc you will be getting?
IMO a 245/35 is too small a side wall, if it were me i'd for 245/40 on this wheel instead for a bigger sidewall since it is your DD. |

245/35/18 is the exact same diameter as stock and, as a result, is likely optimal for a DD. Speedo / mileage will remain correct. If sidewall height (and the associated comfort) is really a concern, buy a tire with a softer sidewall.

issue isn't comfort, its just having enough sidewall to protect the wheel so that youre not riding on rubber bands, especially around here its just not smart incase you can't avoid potholes etc etc...so the speedo will be off by an insignificant margin, big deal.
this is just my opinion obviously, decide for yourself about tire sizes. |

Thanks for the info. I haven't decided on a particular brand. I drive 140 miles a day though. Lol. I see where you're coming from on the sidewall. I just don't want any rubbing issues. I have a twin turbo Cobra with 335/30-19 that is my nice weather toy and the rubbing gets annoying sometimes. It doesn't rub very bad, just rubs the bumper a little on big bumps. With that said, I did narrow the IRS about an inch on each side. Lol. Anyway, I want something that looks good, has a decent tread life, and most important doesn't rub.
On a side note, I put the springs on today! My wife came home and seen me working on it and she shook her head, clarified that I haven't even had the car for two weeks yet, laughed, and walked away. The little things in life. Lol |
