Noobie wants get his feet wet
I bought a 2013 BRZ in January and I love it. I have never tracked a car before, I was wondering what kinda options I have then it comes to safely learning to drive a car fast while staying the midwest. Should I be looking for novice track events with instructors? Driving schools? I was hoping to keep fees + equipment under $1k if possible.

in general i think the best place to start is often an hpde with your local bmw club chapter.
if you want to have more fun on the track, after you're done burning up the all seasons buy something warm and sticky. upgrade to high temp brake fluid before you go if nothing else and make sure you have good pad life. probably will want to upgrade the pads you choose to use after a few events. |
